Amazing - 26 Things

I was trying to come up with something for Amazing. I thought those fuzzy little yellow and black caterpillars are amazing, but alas, I couldn't find one. I thought it might be amazing if the scale moved downward, no such luck. I thought it was amazing that my daughter was playing her piano songs willingly. But then, the teen came home from college with her grade on a recent test. I found that to be amazing. Considering how she did on the last test, this grade was AMAZING!  (piano pic added at the bottom, just for double amazement. *wink*)

TALL - 26 Things

I'm participating in 26 Things this month. The first day's subject was 'Tall'. I went with the 50+ year old tree in our front yard and then buffed out the color to the extreme in Picnik. One day down, 25 to go!

The flower bed in the front yard is just showing signs of life! I love the hydrangea bushes my family bought for me for Mother's Day last year. Aren't they pretty?

Summer Inspiration

(P.S. I think I have quit numbering my photos. I was counting down to 365 photos posted in the year but seeing as June 30th is the 181st day of this year, and I'm on like photo 44, it's safe to say its a losing battle.)

The raised beds we put in are starting to spring to life! I believe these are the budding cucumbers. Can't wait to use them in my fresh salad!
